BIG CARP

As many of you know from our newsletters we are seeing lots of small carp being caught and many of you are seeing big carp cruising around the lake, up until now we have not had any reports of big carp catches until I spoke to a member today who wishes to stay anonymous but gave permission for me to post.

The member was fishing specifically for big carp that he had seen and he said some were probably around the 40lb mark, at the end of his session he had landed two big commons,the smaller one weighed in at 28lb.4oz and the second one was 36lb.2oz. I have not given any information regarding baits, area and methods but would like to thank the member for reporting this.
