Welcome to the Yeovil and Sherborne Angling Association.
The Yeovil Club was formed March 1st 1884 in the Mermaid Hotel Yeovil. Yeovil and Sherborne clubs combined in 1959/60.
We are here to support local anglers keen on pleasure fishing and competing in organised fishing matches.
The club has fishing rights for:
River Yeo – Long Load, Long Load Drain – Long Load, Kingsmoor Drain – Long Load, South Moor Main Drain, Thorney Moor Main Drain, River Parrett from Huish Bridge Langport to Muchelney / Drayton, River Parrett at Wick, River Brue at Highbridge
Our members also receive a discount on day tickets at Revels Fishery and Higher Farm Fishery.
The Club is run by a committee who manages and maintains the venues, organises matches and maintains fish stock levels
