Pike Season

The pike Season started on the 1st of October and it wasn’t long before the first double figure pike were being caught on the lake.

Our river secretary Paul had his first outing on the river at long load and had a jack of 6lb but then decided to try the lake, Paul fished the island swims and wasn’t long before he had landed two nice double figure pike and 15 perch, all the fish were caught on lures, Alex chanov also had a double figure pike and a few small perch.if any member has photos of their pike catches and would like to see them on the website please email me your photos and catch report to secretary@ysaa-online.co.uk
