LAKE NEWS/SURVEY

The 15/16th January saw our lake survey and a full report will be presented at the AGM but I will give a brief summary now, as AE Fisheries only had two days they managed to net 45% of the lake due to some massive snags( sunken trees etc ) they netted the shallows, middle and south side of the islands, nearly a mile and a half of nets were shot using 400 meter seine nets, roach, Rudd, perch, bream and pike were caught, the big surprise was that all the fish are breading and there were lots of baby bream.
