NEWTON PARK OPEN DAY

Wednesday 29th October saw or first open day, the river was low, clear and had no flow  but some nice fish were caught, Bream, Roach, Chub, Trout and of course the minnows were in abundance, Nigel had some nice Bream, myself a Chub of about 4lb and 6 wild brown Trout were caught, we desperately need rain to put some flow and colour in the river and I think the fishing will improve no end,
