Over the last few days the fishing on the lake has really taken off with a lot of big catches, pleasure bags of quality roach have been coming out to waggler and whip with some big hybrids amongst them, most of the reports that I am getting are of 20-30lb bags up and down the lake, many of the better fish are falling to corn and tares fished over hemp but you will also catch on maggot if you don’t mind the Rudd.

Not only has the roach fishing been good the bream fishing has kicked off again with several good bags, Gary Dowding had 6 bream all over 6lb on the feeder 40-50lb in total
