YSAA  AND BIRCHFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL

YSAA has teamed up with Birchfield School to promote outdoor learning and introduce children into fishing, we took a group of children to revels on Wednesday and had a brilliant afternoon with them fishing 4 metre whips, all the children had never fished before so we spent a few minutes with them explaining how to fish, baiting hooks, unhooking, landing fish and much more, we will be taking groups every week in term time up until the end of October. The children caught many different species on the day with Carp, Roach, Perch and Rudd  with some bigger Carp at the end.

The club would like to say a big thank you to Mrs Parker and the SLT staff at school and Jason at Revels for making this possible.
